Your Talent Team seeks an experienced Injection Molding Supervisor to lead daily operations in a startup manufacturing facility in McDonough, GA. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, process optimization, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity across first and second shifts.

You will supervise operators, coordinate with maintenance and tooling, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycle times in a growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in injection molding operations.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of molds, robotics, and related equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and process optimization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily injection molding operations to meet schedules and quality goals.
• Provide training and technical support to production personnel.
• Manage machine setups, startups, mold changes, and changeovers to minimize downtime.
• Monitor cycle times, material usage, and process consistency.
• Develop and implement SOPs for the startup facility.
• Troubleshoot defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, and weld lines.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Tooling to resolve equipment issues.
• Support safety programs and 5S and LOTO compliance.
• Assist with training and documentation as production expands.
