Job summary

Sika seeks a shift supervisor for a 12-hour injection molding shift. The role focuses on safe, efficient shop floor operation and meeting quality and cost targets. You will collaborate with materials and Quality teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to procedures.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, strong communication, and a detail-oriented mindset to sustain continuous improvement and a compliant, productive environment.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented and able to solve problems independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Must be dependable and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a presence on the shop floor for 90% of the time.
• Enforce plant safety rules and union contracts.
• Coordinate with materials and QA to meet delivery and quality goals.
• Follow start-up/shut-down procedures and conduct regular quality checks.
• Manage shop floor reporting in SAP and adherence to the production schedule.
• Train and motivate shop floor personnel; support digital processes across teams.
