Job summary

Summit Polymers is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing (Molding) to lead a shift in injection molding and assembly of plastic parts. You will supervise, train, and develop hourly staff while enforcing safety and quality standards. This role requires coordinating cross‑functional activities and reporting to the Department Manager, Molding.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of leadership experience and a proven ability to drive productivity and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

• One year of related leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises injection molding activities in the molding area.
• Directs, instructs, and trains new and promoted employees.
• Ensures proper training in safe operation of machines.
• Maintains quality and productivity through audits and records.
• Plans workflow to meet department and company requirements.
• Coordinates with other shifts and departments to ensure quality.
• Prepares reports and documentation as needed.
• Completes daily process checks and adheres to safety policies.
