Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Process Technician in Millville, NJ to set up and operate injection molding machinery while maintaining safety and quality production standards. You will troubleshoot equipment, train operators and ensure line clearance during changeovers.

The role emphasizes adherence to EHS policies, GMPs and continuous improvement within a plant manufacturing setting. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years Set Up Mechanic related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and understand SOP and job packets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Injection Molding machinery, tooling and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machines, processes and any quality issues.
• Maintain part quality expectations and production rates.
• Perform line clearance during job changes.
• Train operators on proper machine operations.
• Cover position in absence of operator.
• Manage materials and auxiliary equipment for the area.
• Implement continuous improvement methodology.
• Communicate with internal departments and external customers.
• Ensure clean work areas and general housekeeping.
