Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical plastics/manufacturing training a plus.
• 3+ years in injection molding setup or process tech role.
• Experience with 725–3,300 ton presses and mold changes.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Execute press startups and shutdowns per procedures; load and verify parameters.
• Monitor presses for deviations, quality issues and equipment anomalies.
• Continuously optimize cycle times and process parameters for productivity.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and implement approved corrections.
• Document changes per ISO 9001 procedures and shift logs.
• Perform mold changes and verify mold connections during setup.
• Operate auxiliary equipment and ensure uptime during shifts.
• Support mold preventive maintenance and post-run inspections.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and follow PPE rules.
• Respond to production emergencies and assist with root-cf analysis.
