Viant Puerto Rico is seeking a Molding Set Up technician to ensure equipment operates per specifications, performing routine repairs under close supervision. You will contribute to a safe, productive environment and support process reliability in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 2+ years in injection molding, high school education or equivalent, and flexibility to rotate shifts. On-site duties include mold installation/removal, adherence to SOPs, and documentation of setup activities.

Competenze

• High school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in injection molding.
• Available to rotate shift and perform heavy-duty work; bilingualism preferred.

Mansioni

• Identifies equipment malfunctions and repair needs; makes minor adjustments with supervisor.
• Installs molds in machines as scheduled.
• Follows SOP 003 for mold removal/installation.
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and maintains clean work area.
• Maintains parting line cleaning schedule.
• Completes and documents setup-related records (form).
• Performs related duties as required by supervisor.
• Mold installation and removal; process configuration is a plus; purging and material setup.
