Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a skilled technician to join our manufacturing team in Puerto Rico/USA. You will perform mold installation, changeovers and machine setups to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include monitoring equipment, troubleshooting deviations and coordinating with Quality, Maintenance and Production to minimize downtime, while following safety and process procedures. Technical degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical/related field preferred.
• Experience with mold setup and plastic injection molding operations.
• Knowledge of plastic resin processing parameters and injection molding processes.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold installation, removal and changeovers per production schedules.
• Set up and adjust machine process parameters to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Execute machine, mold and equipment set-ups before production start-up.
• Verify proper operation of molds, cooling systems and equipment.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot process deviations as needed.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance and production to minimize downtime.
