Job summary

MPP Corporation is seeking a dedicated Injection Molding Set Up / Processing Technician to join our manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components.

The role involves setting up molds, making adjustments, inspecting parts, and collaborating with teammates to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment. Five-day work week with non-rotating shifts is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastic molding, tool setup, injection mold press startup and operation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections on finished products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic parts.
• Set up molds and perform necessary adjustments to ensure proper production.
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments to the molding process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production.
• Monitor machine performance and processing conditions to maintain consistent production quality.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
