Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Oklahoma City seeks a skilled manufacturing technician to support tooling, process improvements, and quality on the shop floor. You will work with manufacturing engineering to troubleshoot, document, and optimize production processes.

The role requires CNC operation/set-up, reading blueprints and electrical schematics, and contributing to DMAIC/LEAN/5S initiatives. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work 10 hours with weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mold injection machines and processes.
• Ability to read blue prints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to read and understand manuals and work instructions.
• Team-oriented and able to maintain positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems alongside manufacturing engineering and operators during implementation of tasks.
• Assist engineers to identify and implement new tooling and improve processes.
• Analyze production, perform time studies, and verify documentation accuracy.
• Support process validation projects and related testing.
• Provide administrative support by updating manufacturing docs and reporting on process performance.
• Support DMAIC, LEAN, and 5S improvement initiatives.
• Inspect jobs on completion and ensure safety and conformance to specifications.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs; work 10 hours per day and weekends as required.
