Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Injection Molding Technician in North Carolina to perform mold changeovers on injection molding presses and to support maintenance and reliability of production equipment. You will prepare machines, assist with startup, and conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment utilization.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years in manufacturing or related fields, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years in manufacturing, maintenance, injection molding, tooling, or related technical field.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and measuring devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
• Ability to become certified to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mold changeovers on injection molding presses according to production schedules.
• Prepare machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment for startup and production.
• Assist with machine startup activities following mold installation.
• Verify molds, utilities, cooling connections, and support equipment are operating correctly.
• Support production and process technicians during startup validation and transition to production.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Safely operate forklifts, hoists, cranes, and material handling equipment as required.
• Maintain maintenance and PM records.
