Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a skilled Process Technician for our Mansfield, TX facility to oversee all aspects of the injection molding process. You will set up, start, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, while directing the production schedule and ensuring part quality.

Required experience includes operating injection molding machines and robotics, blueprint reading, and MS Office proficiency. The role emphasizes quality, innovation, and teamwork with strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant work experience.
• Experience setting up and operating injection molding machines and robots.
• Experience diagnosing process issues, making minor repairs, and maintaining high uptime.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints; able to read measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of the injection molding process including setup, start up, shut down, troubleshooting, maintenance, and workflow.
• Direct and monitor the production schedule; perform mold/material changes per schedule; create cycle time reductions.
• Conduct process troubleshooting, tooling/material setting, part inspections, and ensure part conformity and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering on molds for sampling and new products.
• Verify startup and in-process documentation, process monitoring, and changeover checklists.
• Prepare and set up support equipment for start up in production area.
• Perform other duties as required.
