Job summary

Klein Tools is seeking a Process Technician to oversee injection molding processes, including setup, startup, troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance. You will direct production scheduling, perform mold and material changes, and ensure part quality through inspections and process adjustments.

Applicants should have 5+ years in injection molding, read blueprints, and be proficient with MS Office. This role is onsite with exposure to production environments and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience setting up and operating injection molding machines and robots.
• Ability to read blueprints and measuring devices.
• Must read, write, speak and understand basic English; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Set up, startup, shutdown, troubleshoot injection molding processes and maintain equipment.
• Direct and monitor production schedule; perform mold/material changes; pursue cycle-time reductions.
• Troubleshoot processes; perform inspections to ensure part conformity and quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering on molds for materials sampling and new product sampling.
• Verify startup and in-process inspection documents and process monitoring logs.
• Prepare and set up support equipment for startup and production area.
• Perform other duties as required.
