Job summary

The role focuses on setting up, modifying, and maintaining one-shot and two-shot injection molding processes, while troubleshooting for quality, performance and productivity. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining presses and automation, performing routine maintenance, mentoring team members, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience with set-ups and troubleshooting for issues such as flash, short-shot, etc., in Plastic Injection Molding environment.
• Injection Mold Set Up apprenticeship highly desirable.
• Experienced with two-shot molding/over molding.
• Able to perform PM on production molds (eg: mold cleaning, minor mold and machine maintenance, proper greasing of tools).

Responsibilities

• Set up, startup, diagnosis and troubleshooting of the injection molding presses, auxiliary equipment, and secondary production equipment.
• Independently perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters and routine maintenance.
• Identify and implement improvements; support continuous improvement activities.
• Sustain 5S in production cells and ensure adherence to customer specs; document records.
