Job summary

Fluor is seeking a 2nd shift Injection Molding Process Technician in Greer, SC. The role focuses on set-up, troubleshooting, and maintaining high-tonnage injection molding presses with a strong emphasis on quality, process parameters, and automation systems.

The position requires working the 2:30p-10:30p shift and involves crane safety requirements on-site. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience with large-tonnage presses (Engel, Krauss Maffei, Husky), plus a high school diploma

Qualifications

Must have 5+ years of experience with large tonnage injection molding presses.
Experience setting process parameters for high/low runner systems and multi-cavity molds.
Ability to perform mold changeovers and wear safety equipment.
Must understand injection molding processes and equipment function.

Responsibilities

Set machines to process parameters to produce quality parts as directed by process engineers.
Troubleshoot injection molding machines, robots, feeders and EOAT.
Perform mold changeovers on Engel, Krauss Maffei and Husky presses.
Troubleshoot Kuka/ABB robots and Piovan systems.
Monitor equipment and act as first line of maintenance to prevent downtime.
