Job summary

GOJO Industries in Wooster, OH seeks an Injection Molding Process Technician for 2nd shift (Mon–Fri, 2:45pm–10:45pm). This onsite role requires a HS diploma and 1–2 years of experience setting up and running injection molding equipment, with strong knowledge of thermoplastics, tooling, and quality control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certs or an associate degree are a plus.
• 1–2 years proven experience in Injection Molding Process Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of thermoplastics, tooling, and equipment used in injection molding.
• Ability to set up and operate injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot processing issues and adjust parameters as needed.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Scientific molding principles and robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup: Install molds, set parameters, ensure equipment runs correctly.
• Process Monitoring: Observe operations, check part quality, adjust as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and fix processing issues and machine malfunctions.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts and verify dimensions match specs.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Documentation: Record process parameters and production data accurately.
• Safety: Follow safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work area.
