Job summary

Mergon in Anderson, SC, is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our molding lines. This hands-on role focuses on machine set-up, mold changes, process troubleshooting and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.

You will partner with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams to optimize cycles, monitor equipment, and document processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of molding machines, molds, robots and auxiliary Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up injection molding machines, molds, robots and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform mold, material and color changeovers.
• Monitor and optimize process performance, quality and cycle times.
• Troubleshoot molding defects and support production issue resolution.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance.
• Support process trials, sampling and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate production and process records.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Tooling teams.
• Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures.
