Job summary

Advanced Molding Technologies, LLC is seeking a Process Technician II to perform setup, startup and troubleshooting for injection molding operations. This role supports continuous production, ensuring processes stay within validated parameters and collaborates with Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve technical and quality issues.

You will mentor Level I technicians, contribute to process optimization, and ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, cGMP and internal QMS standards.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate preferred.
• 3+ years recent injection-molding setup and processing experience required; medical-device or other regulated manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Additional training or certifications through AIM/Beaumont, RJG or Paulson are preferred and may be offered through employment

Responsibilities

• Conduct startups for all production runs using validated parameters, ensuring stability before release to production.
• Perform in-process troubleshooting to resolve molding, machine, and auxiliary equipment issues promptly.
• Perform setups independently to support production schedules or coverage needs.
• Assist Process Technician I during setups with guidance and verification to ensure proper procedures.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality to address process or product issues and implement corrective actions.
• Execute proper shutdowns including purging, material changes, and documentation handoff.
• Maintain GDP-compliant process logs and PQ feedback and ensure documentation discipline.
