Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking a Production Molding Operator – DMT I in Sandy, Utah. You will handle materials, inspect products, and support downstream equipment with quality molded components while coordinating with technicians for issues.

The role requires HS/GED, 0–1 year manufacturing experience (preferably with injection molding presses), and the ability to work in a cleanroom environment with team-based operations.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with injection molding presses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Packaging, labeling, and handling of product and movement to specified locations.
• Perform limited product visual and manual inspections.
• Learn and maintain a detailed knowledge of all products produced in the department and quality specifications.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and follow good manufacturing practices.
• Must be able to work optimally in a team with limited supervision.
• Understand and interpret controlled documents including work Instructions, procedures, and inspection forms.
• Notify CILL and DMT II’s of any equipment issues.
• Work with molding team members to keep equipment running during breaks and callouts.
• Follow all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through sound quality assurance.
• Other duties as assigned.
