Job summary

FG Clean Wipes is seeking a maintenance technician to keep injection molding equipment and building systems in top condition. You will respond quickly to breakdowns, minimize downtime, and manage preventive maintenance programs, while maintaining accurate records.

You will operate forklifts, use hand tools, and perform light machining with strong mechanical aptitude. English communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with at least 5 years in injection molding setup/processing.
• Ability to operate forklift equipment.
• Proficiency with hand tools and light machining.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Set up new jobs quickly to reduce downtime.
• Proactively maintain equipment via preventive maintenance.
• Keep spare parts area clean and records up to date.
• Conduct emergency lighting, fire extinguisher, and door inspections.
• Leave worksites clean and organized after tasks.
• Communicate with suppliers and contractors as assigned.
• Document maintenance activities using logs.
• Recommend process or equipment improvements for approvals.
