Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support industrial manufacturing operations with advanced troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of complex equipment. This role focuses on uptime for machining processes and reliability across production lines.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in manufacturing maintenance, hands-on knowledge of injection molding and extrusion equipment, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Proficient in repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, especially molding and extrusion equipment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and fault diagnosis abilities.
• Able to work independently and in teams; manage time to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Injection Molded Plastic and extrusion processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of machinery to identify malfunctions and wear.
• Implement preventive maintenance and routine servicing to keep equipment in good condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on manufacturing equipment.
• Repair or replace broken components of machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for installation or repair tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace by following procedures and regulations.
• Document maintenance work with dates, tasks, and parts used.
