Job summary

MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair plastic injection molding machines and related equipment. You will help ensure equipment runs efficiently while supporting lean manufacturing and upholding safety standards.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues, performing preventive maintenance, and updating PM schedules in IQMS.

Qualifications

2–5 years hands-on maintenance experience.
Experience with injection molding equipment and auxiliary equipment.
Associate's degree, trade or technical school equivalent.

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Dismantle machines for inspection, troubleshooting, and repair.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance per schedules.
Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex systems.
Respond quickly to maintenance issues during production with effective solutions.
Update and maintain PM schedules in IQMS.
Support facility upkeep and lean manufacturing improvements.
Ensure compliance with MIOSHA safety standards and company policies.
