Job summary

Drive, a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join its manufacturing team in Michigan. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics, participate in mold changes, and support continuous improvement projects while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Injection molding experience strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics, blueprints and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support mold changes and ensure equipment is operating efficiently.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues quickly.
