Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to keep our injection molding equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support production to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in industrial maintenance, basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and the ability to read schematics and diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years industrial maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Proficient with power tools and basic MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and planned maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair robots, dryers, compressors, chillers, towers, and related equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report safety issues.
• Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs.
