Jobot in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment in a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree, Technical Certificate, Trade School or equivalent experience.
• 2-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience reading blueprints, electrical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience maintaining automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to use machine shop equipment including lathes, drill presses and grinders.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Experience documenting repairs within a CMMS system.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose machine failures and complete emergency repairs.
• Install, test and commission new manufacturing equipment.
• Read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and ladder logic schematics.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and modify ladder logic when necessary.
• Program, repair and troubleshoot automated machinery and robotics.
• Perform welding, cutting and light fabrication repairs.
• Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, grinders and drill presses.
• Inspect machinery for wear, alignment and mechanical failures.
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities within CMMS.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance procedures.
• Mentor junior maintenance technicians when applicable.
• Work safely while following all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
