Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Torrance, CA to support production by maintaining and repairing injection molding equipment. You will troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime and ensure safe, efficient operation.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience, basic knowledge of electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and the ability to read schematics. Willingness to obtain forklift and crane certifications during the initial trial period is

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Able to read schematics and diagrams.
Proficient with power tools and basic MS Office.
Willing to obtain forklift and crane certifications during the initial trial period.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
Repair robots, dryers, thermolators, compressors, chillers, and towers.
Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues.
Troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
Assist in teardown and rebuild of machines.
Report unsafe operations and maintain records.
Coordinate with production teams on maintenance needs.
Follow safety and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
