Job summary

Babich & Associates is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a confidential plastic injection molding operation in Dallas, TX. This hands-on role covers electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation troubleshooting, with 3–5 years of related experience.

The successful candidate will diagnose problems from prints and control diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, follow lockout/tagout, and support production, engineering, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of injection molding maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic prints.
• Willingness to work second shift and occasional Saturdays.
• Technical-school or associate-degree training is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment problems
• Diagnose and repair injection molding machinery and auxiliary equipment
• Read electrical schematics, hydraulic prints, and ladder logic
• Identify PLC inputs and outputs using control diagrams
• Test circuits using voltage testers, voltmeters, and amp probes
• Work safely with 240V and 480V electrical systems
• Repair hydraulic, air, and water leaks
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• Maintain filters, lubrication points, hydraulic reservoirs, and safety devices
• Complete emergency repairs and document work orders
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures
• Support production, engineering, and quality personnel
