Role Description

The Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Brownsville, TX. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on injection molding equipment and related production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and documenting maintenance activities in accordance with plant procedures. The technician will conduct preventive maintenance, assist with equipment changeovers, and support production teams in minimizing downtime. Collaboration with engineering, production, and safety personnel is expected to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills, with experience working on injection molding or comparable manufacturing equipment.
• Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
• Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skills, including the ability to follow maintenance schedules and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Relevant technical training or certification in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and schematics is preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and familiarity with safety and quality standards is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are expected.
