Responsibilities include APQP activities, PFMEA, DFM collaboration, and leading validation

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years in an injection molding environment.
• Experience with mold design review and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for molding and automation work cells.
• Troubleshoot molding processes, tooling, and equipment issues.
• Implement corrective actions to improve performance and minimize downtime.
• Review and support development of new mold tooling and automation equipment.
• Lead supplier equipment runoffs and tooling acceptance.
• Verify incoming equipment meets design requirements.
• Support new product launches through APQP activities.
• Collaborate with Product Development on DFM and customer requirements.
• Lead validation trials and process testing.
• Develop process specifications and operator training procedures.
• Use root cause analysis to resolve downtime and process variation.
• Support scrap reduction and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure ISO and IATF compliance and provide on-call support.
