Job summary

MAHLE, a global automotive supplier, seeks a Production Group Lead (MPS Team Leader) to oversee daily operations, assign tasks, and sustain operator efficiency within the MAHLE Production System. The role emphasizes safety, quality adherence, and strong leadership in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, problem solving and solid communication skills, plus proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Analysis, problem solving, process and troubleshooting skills.
• Communication / inter-personal skills.
• Organized and possess good decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate email system, prepare basic presentation materials using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and productive work environment.
• Follow all Quality requirements and the MAHLE Production System Standards.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustment of machinery and equipment.
• Interpret specifications/job orders to employees and assign duties.
• Schedule manpower requirements.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, safety, and morale.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency and safety of the department.
• Train new or newly assigned employees on their job duties and responsibilities, including quality and safety aspects.
• Perform activities of supervised employees approximately 30% of the time by breaking employees and filling in as necessary.
• Review process documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support and complete 5S audits as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment and materials located in proper locations per 5S standards inside and outside of facility.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Other duties assigned.
