Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Production Supervisor in Dayton, OH, to lead a team of Production Associates, Coordinators, and support staff in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will drive output, coach personnel, and maintain a culture of excellence under the Operations Manager guidance.

The role emphasizes safety first, adherence to quality standards (QS 9000, TS 16949, ISO 14001), and achieving daily productivity and scrap goals while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of industrial experience with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in manufacturing processes required.
• Strong mathematical skills
• Familiarity with Metric system and tight tolerances (0.01mm).
• Personal computer skills in MS Office a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Production Associates as well as Coordinators, Rack & Rel ief and Job Setters.
• Build and maintain a culture of Safety being Priority #1.
• Meet or beat the Daily Productivity / Labor Efficiency % Goal of 92%.
• Meet the Daily Attainment and Scrap Goals for IM Department.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow all established safety guidelines, ensuring conformance with OSHA.
• Make certain, the production area and personnel are adhering to QS 9000, TS 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Initiate actions/ escalation along the value stream, when problems arise regarding safety, quality (Q-stop), equipment, materials, and maintenance. Follow escalation process accordingly.
• Support training initiatives.
