Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Lead Supervisor to guide the Dayton production team in daily activities including safety, KPI tracking, quality, scheduling and continuous improvement.

You will drive on-time delivery, manage resources, coach staff, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with upper management to resolve production issues. A Bachelor's in Industrial/Engineering and 10+ years manufacturing experience are preferred, with SAP and MS Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Industrial, Engineering, or related fields.
• 10+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Production or Product-management role.
• Strong leadership, decision making, teamwork and organizational skills.
• Good people management, problem-solving abilities, and conflict management.
• Good English communication.
• Good experience with SAP (preferable).
• Computer literacy especially in MS office of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead production team in daily activities including safety, KPI's, quality, scheduling and continuous improvement.
• Manage production schedule for on-time completion, shipping schedule for on-time delivery.
• Develop workflow policies and procedures to improve efficiency while maintaining safety and quality.
• Lead Shopfloor management meetings addressing deviations from standard/budget for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Costs.
• Support new launches (trials, customer runs and first off builds thru serial production).
