Job summary

MAHLE is seeking a Production Group Lead (MPS Team Leader) to oversee daily activities, assign tasks, and ensure operator efficiency as part of the MAHLE Production System. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling manpower, training new employees, reviewing processes, and supporting 5S audits to maintain a clean, safe workplace. 3 years of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Organized with good decision-making skills.
• Ability to operate Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe and productive work environment.
• Follow all Quality requirements and the MAHLE Production System (MPS) standards.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustment of machinery and equipment.
• Interpret specifications/job orders to employees and assign duties.
• Schedule manpower requirements.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, safety, and morale.
• Train new or newly assigned employees on their job duties and responsibilities including quality and safety aspects.
• Perform activities of supervised employees approximately 30% of the time by breaking employees and filling in as necessary.
• Review process documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Support and complete 5S audits as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe working environment with equipment/materials located in proper locations per 5S standards.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
