Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking an Injection Mold Machine Operator to handle packaging and movement of finished product, enter data, and generate tickets. You will ensure safe operation of injection molding equipment, troubleshoot processes, and maintain cleanliness and safety in the area.

The role requires the ability to start presses from a cold state, set optimal cycle parameters, and collaborate with leads and technicians to resolve quality issues.

Qualifikationen

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Blow Mold or Injection Mold training/experience.
• High attention to detail and product/process quality.
• Ability to enter information accurately into on-line database.
• Ability to recognize and understand numbers and values.
• Good hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
• Ability to manage time independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work any shift and overtime.

Aufgaben

• Package finished product according to customer specs and guidelines.
• Start injection presses from a cold start and understand machine functions.
• Set machine conditions to meet production standards without compromising quality.
• Perform daily clean-up and maintain good housekeeping.
• Identify quality problems and notify leads/technicians, taking corrective action.
• Understand dryer, chiller, mold components and processes.
• Assist with mold changes/setups; perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards; use PPE properly.
• Support Blow Mold Operators and others to foster a positive team environment.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Lead/Supervisor.
