Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is hiring an Injection Molding Assembler I in South Deerfield, MA. The role involves assembling, inspecting, and packing injection molded protective cases using hand tools and fixtures, with rotation through tasks on the assembly line.

You will perform in-process inspections, ensure traceability with labeled packaging, and help maintain a clean, safe work area. The shift runs Sunday through Thursday, 10:00am to 6:15am EST, with company benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willing to cross-train in different tasks.
• Must rotate throughout Manufacturing Cases and Component Molding.
• Familiar with hand and power tools used in assembly.
• Ability to read/ follow verbal or written instructions.
• Able to stand for full shifts and perform repetitive tasks.
• Contribute to a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect and pack small to large injection molded cases using hand tools and fixtures.
• Perform visual and in-process inspections to ensure quality.
• Pack completed products with labeled packaging for traceability.
• Re-inspect, re-work, sort and clean plastic parts as needed.
• Rotate through different tasks on the assembly line.
• Operate drilling and pin installation fixtures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and return tools to storage.
