Job summary

Pelican Products, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator I for the South Deerfield, MA facility to operate rotational molding machines and support mold setup and quality checks. The role requires following procedures, reading blueprints, and maintaining production records during the 10:00pm to 6:00am shift, Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Adhere to safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Experience operating machinery and production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• One year of plastic molding or similar machine operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate rotational molding machines with minimal supervision.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Set up and service molds while monitoring machine controls and product quality.
• Perform secondary operations on molded products as needed.
• Use powered and manual hand tools, hoists, gantries, and production equipment.
• Read basic blueprints and manufacturing work orders.
• Maintain quality standards and production records.
• Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with training and sharing technical knowledge with team members.
• Work Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Sunday - Thursday.
