Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care in Saint George, UT is seeking caring caregivers to provide personal support and companionship in clients' homes. You’ll be trained and supported as you grow, with flexible full-time or part-time schedules and a focus on safety and dignity.

You’ll perform daily care, mobility assistance, meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and transportation while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record.
• Background check and TB test (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers.
• Meal preparation and nutritional support.
• Medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Documenting care using AxisCare app.
• Following all safety and infection-control policies.
