Assisting Hands St George is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care, helping clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. You will deliver practical assistance and meaningful companionship, joining a supportive team that values your work and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Dependable, responsible, and professional.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Reliable transportation with valid insurance and good driving record.
• Background check and TB test (or ability to obtain within 2 weeks).
• Home care experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Aid mobility and safe transfers.
• Prepare meals and provide nutritional support.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Support clients with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
• Document care using AxisCare app.
• Follow safety and infection-control procedures.
