Job summary

Tyson Foods in Kentucky is seeking a detail‑oriented team member for a 2nd shift clerical/operational role. Responsibilities include recording data, operating scales, unloading ingredients, and ensuring correct routing. Experience in clerical work or feed mill operations is preferred; DOT knowledge is a plus. This position requires lifting up to 60 lbs, working in various environments, and complying with safety and biosecurity guidelines.

Qualifications

• Clerical experience preferred.
• Feed mill experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT trucking procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record data accurately.
• Operate scales and document ingredients via ticketing system.
• Unload ingredients and route to storage silo.
• Obtain and run quality analysis on incoming ingredients.
• Lift up to 60 lbs and use hand tools.
• Perform minor maintenance with hand tools.
• Operate loading equipment and ensure correct feed type.
• Direct drivers to loading area according to schedule.
• Maintain safety procedures and housekeeping.
• Sign and abide by Biosecurity Guidelines including avoiding avian species.
• Work in hot, dusty, wet and cold environments.
• Flexibly work holidays, weekends and hours as needed.
