Job summary

Schreiber Foods, Inc. in Beloit, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Associate for a 6am–6:30pm shift on a 2-2-3 rotation. You will weigh ingredients, read batching sheets, and support blending and packaging tasks in a GMP-compliant environment.

We value teamwork, reliability, and safe operation of forklifts and RF scanners. The role requires HS diploma, 1–3 years in food manufacturing, and willingness to work weekends/over time; ESOP participation and strong benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• High School Degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to complete and pass required Wonderlic test.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMPs and safety procedures.
• Weigh ingredients for current and future production needs.
• Read batching sheets and prioritize weigh-out tasks.
• Identify ingredients including allergen vs non-allergen types.
• Operate RF scanner and move materials as required.
• Use forklifts to retrieve products from freezer/refrigerator and bring to blending.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to internal policies.
• Support blending and other duties as assigned.

Job Category: Manufacturing & Operations Job Family: Machine Operations Work Shift: Job Description: This is a 6am-6:30pm position with a 2-2-3 rotation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Must adhere to all regulations, food safety procedures, and company policies.
• Weigh out ingredients for current and future production needs.
• Accurately read batching sheets and prioritize weigh out needs according to the customer and internal specifications.
• Identify different ingredients including differences in allergens and non-allergens.
• Proper procedures utilizing the HIVE, including scanning all pallets, ingredients, and kitting rooms
• Accurately identify and record lot code, product, and other ingredient information.
• Using a forklift, retrieve product from the freezer or refrigerator, and bring to Blending as needed.
• Must maintain a clean working area and follow all GMP’s
• This position works closely and often interchangeably with the Blending position.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other duties and assignments as requested
• Abides by all internal policies. This includes GMP, attendance, productivity, etc.
• Other duties at the discretion of Management/Supervisor

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Able to work weekends and overtime as needed
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good math skills a plus
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Ability to use RF Scanner/scan gun
• Dependable
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to Safely operate material handling equipment, i.e. Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, etc. a plus

Education and/or Experience

• High School Degree, preferred
• 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred
• Must be able to complete and pass required Wonderlic test
