Job summary

Carolina Beverage Group seeks an Ingredient Control Technician to prepare batched products for blenders, sanitize equipment, and manage bulk materials while upholding strict quality standards. You will receive guidance from the Ingredient Control Supervisor and ensure accurate kit documentation and labeling.

Responsibilities include weighing ingredients, documenting quantities, and signing off on kits before shipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; One year certificate from college or technical school preferred; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Distance vision, Close Vision, Color Vision, Peripheral vision, and Depth perception.

• The work environment may include wet, humid, or outdoor conditions, temperature extremes, fumes, and moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Create kits according to written procedures and formulas while maintaining quality standards
• Weigh partial ingredients according to the required amount and label
• Document issued quantities for every ingredient and lot number per kit
• Inspect quality and accuracy of quantities on all kits
• Sign-off on all completed kits prior to shipping to the plant
• Maintain the safety, traceability, and accuracy of all kits

Education
