Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS seeks a Process Engineer (Ingot) in Cartersville, GA. The role guides shift/day Process Technicians and applies continuous improvement to OE, JE, safety and quality.

You will develop sampling methods, drive process improvements, and support engineering training in Six Sigma/Lean methods. You must have a Bachelor’s in engineering and 3+ years in process engineering in industrial settings (semiconductor or solar preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, electrical, chemical, or other engineering fields.
• 3+ years of process engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial engineering environments (semiconductor, solar, etc.).
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sampling, inspection, testing, and evaluation methods.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Adhere to safe work methods and plant safety rules.
• Lead change via cross-functional collaboration with safety, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Develop training plans for process engineering and continuous improvement (Six Sigma, Lean).
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions).
