Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PA Board of Pharmacy registration preferred upon hire; trainee registration required within 180 days.
• New Jersey registration with NJ Board of Pharmacy preferred; must be filed within 10 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacist in filling prescription items as allowed by state board.
• Perform order entry and labeling for medications.
• Communicate with patients, physicians and payers regarding prescription status.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in the pharmacy system.
• Prepare sterile medications using aseptic technique when required.
• Perform inventory, ordering, and stocking activities.
