Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support specialty and infusion prescriptions under the direction of a pharmacist.

The role includes entering orders, preparing sterile medications, and coordinating with patients, providers and payers. You will handle inventory, labeling, IV preparation, and ensure accurate documentation while working with a team across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Certified pharmacy technician or Pharmacy Student Intern required.
• Two years infusion or specialty pharmacy experience as a professional.
• Day, middle or night shift with varying hours based on department needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist in filling prescription items as permitted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Effectively communicates with patients, referral sources, and payers.
• Prepare sterile medications using aseptic technique and label products appropriately.
• Enter prescription orders and facilitate dispensing of medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation records and manage inventory.
