Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Infusion Technician to provide patient care at our infusion centers. You will welcome patients, gather information for registration, perform phlebotomy, vital signs, and basic procedures within your scope.

Work includes entering orders in electronic medical records, coordinating with RNs, and preparing charts for the next day. A High School diploma and BLS are expected, with training provided by St. Luke’s Health Network.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Health care specialty training preferred.
• BLS or completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists all individuals in the unit in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
• Completes patient registration process as needed.
• Performs phlebotomy and vitals as part of patient care.
• Assembles and maintains outpatient records and prepares charts for next day.
• Enters orders and uses electronic medical records for patient care.
• Triage and support RNs and scheduling using Cadence Snap Board.
