Job summary

Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, invites a Registered Nurse to deliver infusion services in the Dodson Outpatient Building. You will provide patient- and family-centered infusion care, guided by the nursing process, while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

You will work with a diverse patient population, including hematology/oncology, nephrology, rheumatology, and more, in a fast-paced infusion center with 24 chairs and 10 private rooms.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• Current BLS.
• PALS may be obtained after hire.
• APHON Certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusion nursing care to patients per the plan of care.
• Maintain patient- and family-centered communication and collaboration.
• Apply nursing process to infusion care in a fast-paced setting.
• Utilize skills such as port access and PIV placement as needed.
