Job summary

Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver skilled infusion services in the Infusion Center. You will provide patient‑centered care, using the nursing process and strong communication to support families across multiple specialties, including hematology/oncology and nephrology.

Responsibilities include port access, starting PIVs, and functioning in a fast‑paced environment with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas.
• Current BLS certification.
• PALS may be obtained post hire.
• APHON certification encouraged but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver infusion services to patients and families per nursing process.
• Provide team‑oriented, patient‑centered infusion care.
• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and communication.
• Work in a fast‑paced infusion center serving diverse specialties.
• Perform port access and start PIVs as needed.
