Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for the Infusion Center to deliver skilled infusion services. You will work in a 24-chair, 10-private-room center serving various specialties in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include port access, initiating PIVs, and applying evidence-based nursing practice with strong communication to ensure exemplary patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current permit or license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS.
• PALS may be obtained post hire.
• APHON Certification is not required but encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competent infusion services according to identified patient needs.
• Provide patient-centered infusion care with sound clinical judgment.
• Communicate clearly to support customer excellence and teamwork.
• Operate in a fast-paced infusion center serving diverse patient populations.
• Utilize port access and starting peripheral IVs; apply time management and critical thinking skills.
