Job summary

Independent Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician-Infusion and Replenishment to assist with infusion patient fulfillment and the upkeep of pharmaceuticals, pumps and supplies. Under a pharmacist's supervision, you will handle non-judgmental tasks and ensure accurate packaging, labeling and records.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus 1 year in a high-volume pharmacy; CPhT is preferred. This is a hybrid position at our Williamsville location with opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. CPhT preferred.
• One year of experience in a high-volume pharmacy required.
• Experience with infusion pumps, IV equipment, or home infusion preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Effective oral and written communication with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient records, including infusion orders.
• Assist in appointment coordination for infusion patients when necessary.
• Set up, package, and label medication doses.
• Process equipment and supply orders.
• Package and ship specialty prescriptions, infusion orders, returns, and equipment.
• Maintain infusion pump maintenance logs and coordinate replacements.
• Coordinate stock infusion supplies with nursing support.
• Assist Pharmacy Buyer with inventory processes and organization.
• Assist in replenishment of incoming specialty stock.
• Assist in physical inventory and ensure proper drug handling.
