Job summary

BrightStar Care of Springfield/Decatur is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate in-home care with a focus on safety and quality. You will perform client care per the Plan of Care, administer IVIG in the home, monitor changes, maintain accurate clinical records, and counsel clients and families on nursing needs.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, has at least 1 year of experience, CPR certification, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to work in home settings.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN license in the state where you apply.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• IVIG experience in home setting.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable car / valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform care as defined by client’s Plan of Care and within scope of state nurse practice act, in the client’s home.
• Administer IVIG in the home setting.
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.
• Provide services requiring nursing skill.
• Maintain clinical records in compliance with laws.

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license in state for which you are applying.

• Physical and TB screen within the last year


• Current CPR certification
