Job summary

Concordia Visiting Nurses is seeking a compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized infusion therapy to patients in their homes, while building meaningful relationships and promoting positive outcomes.

You will administer IV therapies, assess patients, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate families. This role offers autonomy within a collaborative clinical team and opportunities for professional growth in a mission-driven Christian healthcare community.

Qualifications

• Previous infusion nursing experience preferred.
• Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Administer IV medications, hydration, antibiotics, and specialty infusion therapies.
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusions for safety and effectiveness.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide appropriate interventions when necessary.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document care accurately.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapies, medications, and disease management.
• Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
